Announcing Spring Draft 2025
4v4 Capture the Flag Draft Saturday May 17th at 10am PDT
All players and skill levels welcome and encouraged! Any player that wants to play and will be able to make the time slot, please sign up in the #draft-night channel on the HL2DM Competitive Discord Server Please follow the pinned post on the format for signing up. Taking the first 16 people to sign up. (Anticipated time of Draft Night is 2 hours)
Everyone will need to join the "Check In Lobby" voice channel 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. (No mic needed, just need you there to separate teams)
Team captains will be selected by admins and once teams are selected you will be appointed to either SF 2 or SF 3 to play your matches. We anticipate 4 teams so we will do a large 8v8 ctf round on jctf_flare for seeding. The top player's team on the winning team of 8 will be seed 1, and the other team will be seed 2. The top player's team of the losing team of 8 will be seed 3 and the other team will be seed 4.
All matches will be ran with !run big
After the seeding game is completed we will take the placements of the teams and then do a single elimination bracket with each round winner determined by a best of 3 series. All maps will be pre-determined for this draft night.
Map Schedule TBD, we may be cooking up some new CTF maps so stay tuned!
CTF Specific Rules
All games are first team to 10 captures or whoever is leading in captures after 20 minutes. In the event of a tie after 20 minutes there will be a 5 minute overtime. If the game is tied after the 5 minute overtime then the last team to score will be declared the winner. If no team has scored and the final score is 0-0 then the team with the most frags will win that map.
